WPA chARiTy

All of us at WPA Pinfold are aware of our privileged lives, in a world where so many people struggle just to survive.

Our chARiTy art event is one way in which we have been able to use our skills to add value by creating original works of art that are sold both online and at our auction events, which we have been holding since 2005.

All our employees and network of freelancers contribute and all proceeds go to our chosen charity that year.

Our third chARiTy event was based around the theme of vision. The marketing materials created to promote the show explored the graphic language of light, form and colour. We produced an exhibition catalogue, posters, a range of unique button badges, internal way-finding and signage.

All the creative utilised the ‘graphic language of ophthalmology’ charts, used to measure visual acuity. The show was a sell out and raised over £5000 for Sightsavers. www.sightsavers.org

tHE ART show featured works of art created specially for the event by employees and friends of WPA Pinfold and the art was available to purchase, by auction, on the night.
All proceeds were donated to our chosen charity Chain of Hope, which provides essential heart surgery for underprivileged children throughout the world.

tHE ART show 2006

chARiTy

Our first chARiTy event took place in 2005. A unique exhibition of over 50 self portraits, artworks and t-shirt designs, it was co-hosted by eyestorm britart and raised over £6,500 for a number of charities.

Internationally renowned typographer Alan Kitching was commissioned to create the lettering for the event title. Other notable pieces included a self portrait made entirely of stamps and a large canvas of toy cars in the shape of the Union Jack.
