Creating a compelling EVP for a NFP Leisure Trust
Barnsley Premier Leisure wanted an EVP to embed new values and to capture/enhance their already great workplace culture. We quickly discovered that ‘It’s a good thing’ working at BPL!
Employees were involved throughout the process; including photo shoots and voxpop style interviews capturing the values and culture with everyone from the CEO to the cleaner!
This photography was used across all touchpoints to enhance the EVP, the values and to make it more authentic to employees.
The EVP launch event included 150 employees, who were involved in fun workshop activities that explained and introduced the EVP and values.
We developed a EVP gift box full of goodies for all employees and new starters to welcome them to the business.
Alongside the gift box, all new employees will be inducted into the business with an interactive induction ebook that gives them everything they need to know in one place.
As part of the EVP, a new ‘thank you’ culture was introduced to recognise employees with varying levels of reward from a simple ‘thankyou’ postcard from a colleague to the annual ‘feel good’ awards.
Following launch, the EVP was introduced to the rest of the business and embedded with ambassadors through a programme of activities including site visits, fun games, team fuddles and refurbishment of staff areas.
