Art is rubbish 3

Our award-winning Charity art exhibition is back for the third time.

At WPA Pinfold we believe design should make a difference. That’s why we created Art is Rubbish – upcycling discarded objects into art and auctioning them to raise funds for charity. As a business we have a charitable mindset, donating a percentage of profits to worthy causes, and Art is Rubbish was born out of this commitment.

This will be the third iteration of the event, Art is Rubbish has already shown how design skills can drive positive change. Together we have raised over £20,000 for charity since its inception, and this year we aim to make an even bigger impact for our chosen charity – WasteAid, which are helping to create a world where waste causes no harm, and people in poverty are empowered to recover its value.

WasteAid’s work goes far beyond waste management. They create sustainable livelihoods, improve public health, and drive environmental progress in vulnerable communities across Africa and Asia. Hearing firsthand about the impact of their projects, and how they’ve already improved the lives of over 1.3 million people worldwide has inspired our team even more to support this exceptional charity through Art is Rubbish.

As we get ready for Art is Rubbish 3, we’re taking a quick look back. Last time around the team created 30 weird and wonderful pieces, transforming discarded materials into works of art, perfectly capturing the spirit of upcycling and sustainability. We were really proud to raise £10,000 in support of our chosen charity.

This year’s collection is set to be just as brilliant, with even more innovative thinking. You won’t want to miss the unique pieces on display.
