Launching the strategy
We developed a clear narrative and suite of communications to launch the strategy across the organisation, breaking down the core elements and messages. It was launched initially at series of internal events and the comms used to roll it out to all colleagues.
Drive to thrive
Once the strategy had landed, we developed ‘drive to thrive’ – the journey and detailed plan to deliver the strategy and reach the vision. We created an identity and visual look and feel, closely aligned to the brand guidelines, but re-imagined in a way that was future-looking and stood out amongst other internal communications.

Internal communications
The ‘drive to thrive’ plan was launched at an in-person event of 800 senior and people leaders. The narrative was told across a variety of digital and printed communications, and a series of workshops allowed people leaders to shape the plan for their teams and areas of the business.
Awards
The ‘drive to thrive’ awards recognise colleagues who embrace the plan and display one or more of the four Yorkshire Water behaviours, demonstrating their commitment to delivering the strategy. We created pre-award comms, bespoke awards, pin badges, certificates and branding at the event.
We created a toolkit of assets and guidelines for ‘drive to thrive’, giving people leaders the tools they require to communicate with their teams and ensure a consistent campaign look and feel across all communications.
