Rebranding Britain’s gas network looking to the future of clean energy
Following the sale of National Grid’s Gas Transmission and Metering division, and a subsequent rename. We created the new National Gas brand representing its future ambitions for the transition to green gas and playing a leading role in the UK’s decarbonisation journey.
There are two divisional sub-brands to the business – National Gas Transmission is the operational side, which is responsible for the gas infrastructure and supply. This brand mark will be seen across all field vehicle livery applications.
National Gas Metering is the customer-facing side of the business, responsible for communications about gas supply and gas metering. This brand mark will be seen across various consumer communications, such as drop cards.
We provided brand guidance, asset toolkits, templates and launch applications for the new brand and divisions to make sure the new company was ready to launch on day one.
